Connie has worked in the legal field since September 1986. She began working for a local law firm as a receptionist and was later promoted to legal assistant. She began working for Roberts Wooten and Zimmer as a legal assistant to Kevin Roberts in April 1990. She later was named assistant office manager and in May 2011 became the sole office manager of the firm while still working as legal assistant to Kevin Roberts.

Over the past 27 years, Connie has handled personal injury, criminal/traffic, civil litigation, domestic and probate matters. She manages the firm, which consists of six legal assistants, two paralegals and four attorneys.

Connie grew up in the Hillsboro/Desoto area and graduated from Hillsboro High School. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son.

Mary Anne Blanke returned to school after the birth of her son to pursue her dream of an education in the legal field. Working full time and going to night school full time, she obtained her bachelor's degree in paralegal studies magna cum laude from Maryville University in St. Louis. As part of her studies, she interned with our firm in the fall of 2004. Upon graduation, she was hired full time and began her career as a paralegal in January 2005. Mary Anne brought with her a wealth of knowledge from her experiences as an office manager, executive assistant/property manager and accounting manager.

Mary Anne hit the floor running and has proven to be an invaluable asset to our firm. She has gained vast experience in class action litigation, product liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death and personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.

She plays a vital role supporting attorneys in a wide variety of complex casework, including conducting legal research; requesting, reviewing and summarizing medical records; preparing pleadings; communicating with clients; preparing for trial; and assisting throughout the claims/litigation process. Mary Anne works diligently on each case file to obtain the best possible results for each client.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Kathy Lemke has been working in the legal field since January 1988. She started with our firm in August 1997 and worked through November 2003 initially as a legal secretary for one of the partners, working mostly in civil litigation, insurance litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, Social Security Disability, workers' compensation and wrongful death. She then went to work for defense firm Sandberg, Phoenix and Von Gontard in downtown St. Louis, working as a legal assistant to a shareholder and a paralegal working in class action litigation, health law, insurance litigation, medical malpractice and product liability while also attending college full time at night. Upon graduation, we rehired her and she began her career as a paralegal with our firm in July 2009. Kathy earned her paralegal certification at St. Louis Community College-Meramec and obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration magna cum laude from Lindenwood University. She primarily works on cases pertaining to workers' compensation and Social Security Disability.

Kathy strives to ensure that every client receives prompt and professional care. Her work in managing our workers' compensation and Social Security Disability caseload includes a great deal of personal communication with clients, requesting and reviewing voluminous medical records, preparing pleadings, setting up medical evaluations, assisting attorneys and clients throughout the claims process, preparing Social Security cases from inception to hearing, and drafting appeals briefs, if necessary.

A native of Jefferson County, Kathy raised her four children in the Hillsboro School District. She enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family.
